This process includes four sections: personal information and waivers, additional questions and extras, carbon offsets, and payment. Your registration is not complete until you have finished all sections and see a confirmation page.

There are two ways to register for the Saturday morning (8-11am) open water clinic with World's Team coach Steven Munatones. You can either bundle it with your entry to the race (you will see a checkbox), or sign up separately. Both get you into the clinic.

Agreeing to the waivers and payment of entry fee constitutes your acceptance of Aqua Zone Portland Mile and USAT/USMS/USA Swimming policies.

Your credit card statement will show a charge from One Million Revolutions.

All participants must be a member of one of these organizations, and you must show a photo ID and current USAT, USMS, or USA Swimming membership card at packet pickup. If you are not a member of one of these organizations (and do not plan on becoming a member by raceday), you must purchase a one-day USAT membership for $10. The one-day membership fee is non-refundable, but may be used toward the future purchase of an annual license.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR YOUTH: If you are under 18 years old and not a member of USA Swimming, you MUST be an annual member of USAT to compete. Annual youth memberships cost $5, are valid for one year, and are available from USAT's website.

Athletes entering The Mile will be required to choose a start wave: Elite, Non-Wetsuit, or Wetsuit. Only athletes in the Elite division will be eligible for the Overall purse. The Wetsuit division will receive a finishing time but will not be eligible for cash or prizes. More information is here.

During the registration process you will be asked to predict your finishing time. The swimmer closest to their predicted time on raceday will win $500. Answer carefully!

This event has elected to offset all greenhouse gas emissions generated by participant travel. During the registration process you will have the opportunity to offset your share by purchasing carbon credits from EcoSecurities. This is optional - you can elect to not offset your travel emissions, and instead the race will purchase credits on your behalf.
