*Note on shirts

Shirts are men's and women's sizing. The women's shirts are fitted, but not super tight. *Note on shirt orders after June 1st cutoff: Shirts are only available to those who register before June 1st and choose the tshirt option. HOWEVER, you can still get a shirt on the day of the race! Those who decide they want a shirt after June 1st will be able to order one at the Packet pick ups and the DAY OF RACE ONLY. There will be a table taking extra orders for t-shirts for $12 each (pick up in store 3 weeks later) or shipped to you for $20 total. Again, you can still get a shirt, but in order to forecast correctly for early registrants, the preorder for shirts has to be cut off until race day. Thanks for understanding!

ABOUT the Foot Traffic Flat

This year's Foot Traffic Flat will take place July 4th, 2012 and will be limited to 3,000 participants between all 3 races. The Flat, as we affectionately call it, has become a Fourth of July tradition around Portland. The event has raised over $300,000 for the Fire Department and other local charities over the past 10 years! The course, as the name implies, is about the flattest and fastest half and full marathon on the West Coast. But in addition to the fast times expected from completing this event, runners and walkers will be treated to the beautiful sights of Sauvie Island, including thousands of songbirds, majestic bald eagles, and picturesque farmland that most of the island residents subsist off of. Oh yeah, don't forget the island-fresh strawberry shortcake! Not only is it scrumptious, but the islanders themselves serve it to you. Be sure to thank them and shake these wonderful people's hands!
